Course Director

Patti Devine - Digital Marketing Consultant

Focused on audience development for newspapers and magazines for most of her career, with an eye toward digital transformation since 2016, Patti Devine has worked with nearly one hundred media brands. The shift to digital came when she accepted a full-time role at Today Media. For a year, Patti implemented, optimized, and reported on local programmatic campaigns on behalf of the firm’s advertising clients from Albany to Delaware.

Today, she manages the strategy and implementation of organic and paid social and search campaigns for global companies, local businesses, municipalities, and non-profits. Recent clients include Foa & Son, an international insurance broker; Step Up for Better Living, a non-profit in the Bronx; and the Town of Pine Plains in northeast Dutchess County, NY.

Before becoming a consultant, Patti worked in consumer marketing and audience development for Time Inc. There, having the ability to clearly envision the customer's viewpoint enabled her to successfully manage and enhance the customer retention program for Time magazine's 4 million subscribers. After leaving Time Inc. full time, she continued in a consulting capacity at FortuneMoney, and the Southern Progress titles until 2008.

Passionate about teaching and nurturing talent, Patti has taught business, marketing, and entrepreneurship to undergraduate and graduate business students at Fordham University, NYU, and CUNY Baruch College in New York City. She is currently an adjunct lecturer teaching Marketing Strategy at SUNY New Paltz. She speaks at industry events and conducts training sessions for her clients, sharing best practices and processes to help marketers excel.
