Please join The Media, Audience & Content Marketing Association (MACMA) for our first 2023 “Get to Know MACMA” event outside of the NY tri-state area.

MACMA was founded in 1948 as a means to provide a unique opportunity for members of the community to come together for a mutual exchange of ideas. Our mission has always been about connecting with the community. In 2014, evolving with the times, the Fulfillment Management Association merged with the National Trade Circulation Foundation and rebranded as the Media, Content & Marketing Association. And, staying relevant and true to our membership, in 2022, we enhanced our name to include audience, without whom we would not exist.   MACMA strives to be the place where the industry comes together to talk, learn, and network. MACMA’s 12-month calendar of events includes the MACMA Holiday Extravaganza and MACMA Industry Day, both held at Hearst Tower in New York City. There are two in-person - meet & greets this year, one at Industry Dive Headquarters in Washington, DC and the other in Chicago at Omeda’s headquarters in September.  MACMA brings the industry together to hear from and talk with experts in data economics, the future of the 3rd party cookie, audience development and more.

Everyone in the association, media, publishing and events industries in Washington, DC and surrounding areas are invited to this exciting opportunity to network with and learn from your colleagues.

Brian Morrissey (Founder of The Rebooting) will be interviewing Sean Griffey cofounder and the CEO of Industry Dive. Brian and Sean will be discussing the end of the scale era of digital publishing, and why focused media won and what comes next.

Sean Griffey – Industry Dive
Sean is a cofounder and the CEO of Industry Dive.  He initially got started in media at FierceMarkets where he served as President. Before catching the start-up bug, Sean spent nearly 10 years as a consultant at A.T. Kearney and PricewaterhouseCoopers helping companies with a broad range of strategic and operational engagements.  Sean has a B.S. in Economics from Penn State and an M.B.A. from Northwestern’s Kellogg School of Management.


Brian Morrissey –The Rebooting

Brian Morrissey is the founder of The Rebooting, a publication focused on the methods of building sustainable media businesses. For nearly a decade, he was the president and editor-in-chief of Digiday Media, a vertical media company that has titles covering media and marketing (Digiday), fashion and beauty (Glossy) and retail (Modern Retail). At Digiday, he was responsible for all editorial across the brands, memberships, product, events programming and design. Prior to joining Digiday in 2011, he was digital editor at Adweek for six years. He’s spent two decades in digital media.
