Annual Tradition Takes Center Stage Next Week
Holiday Party is December 10th at the Princeton Club

On December 10th, the MCMA will take time to reflect on the year and celebrate the future of our industry… and celebrate you, because you are the reason the MCMA exists; the reason so many individuals volunteer their time and expertise; the reason for programming and networking events… You are essential to the MCMA's success, and we want you to know how important you are to our organization.

This year the party takes on an added dimension with members of the Direct Marketing Club of New York (DMCNY) joining us for this annual tradition. You can register using the link below, and if you would like to contribute to the gift-giving this year, please let Jodi Sentementes know via email (link to [email protected]).

MCMA Announces New Digital Membership Offering

Knowing that not everyone can make it to New York City for the MCMA's monthly education luncheons, the organization's Board of Directors recently launched a new "Digital Membership" offering. The digital membership is a new way to be a part of the MCMA community and support the organization's mission. A digital membership includes some (but not all) of the same benefits that come with the current individual offering. Benefits include the ability to leverage the MCMA's job board at no cost and to be a part of new online communities.

"The digital membership is a recognition that the MCMA's community transcends the greater New York City area," commented current MCMA President, Jeff Hartford (AIN Publications). "Our ability to further the MCMA's mission, and strengthen our industry, grows as our community expands. A digital membership was a logical next step in the MCMA's evolution."

MCMA Looked Squarely Into the Crystal Ball
Strong Turnout for Panel Session On 2020 Trends

MCMA's November Educational Lunch featured a panel that explored the trends expected to be at the forefront for 2020. Moderated by Nicole Bowman (Bowman Circulation Marketing) and including industry leaders from organizations including The New Republic, American Media, and Strategic Fulfillment Group (SFG) the group dove into a host of topics ranging from new pricing models and brand extensions to improving audience engagement and navigating compliance with complex state legislation.

Many thanks to all who attended the November luncheon. Thanks as well to the MCMA Program committee for their year around work to bring members high-quality programming like this.

Have a Question? Want to Make a Connection?
New Online Communities To Members the Chance.

At the heart of the MCMA is a community that time and time again helps each other with both
professional and personal challenges. Whether it is a question about strategy and operations or an ask to help navigate a professional opportunity, our members are regularly there for each other.

That's why it was quite logical for the MCMA to launch not just one, but two members-only online communities. When you are logged into Facebook or LinkedIn when you are logged in to either you are one click away from colleagues and friends.
